Turkey: Another Day Of Fire, Evacuation Of More Than 1000 People

For the second day in a row, the fire has been raging through the woodlands that are located in the southern region of Turkey; more than one thousand people have been evacuated to safer areas. The fire originated in the Gulnar district of the coastal province of Mersin, and due to the strong winds, it quickly expanded to the Salifke district, which is adjacent to the Gulnar district.
